Driving Directions

 

The following map shows the two primary launch points used by Fishing Charters.  Driving directions to these launch points are included below.

 

 

Directions to the Walnut Creek Marina

(located at the end of Manchester Road, Fairview, PA 16415)

From points South of Erie:

  • Take Interstate I-79 North (to the end of I-79)

  • Merge onto Route 5 West (12th Street)

  • Follow Route 5 West up past the first Country Fair Convenience Store on the left

  • Proceed for a few miles past the second Country Fair Convenience Store on the right

  • Continue to the next traffic light and turn right onto Manchester Road (a well marked road)

  • Follow Manchester road down the hill for approximately 1/2 mile before turning right onto the Walnut Creek Marina access road

  • Stay to the left and follow the creek to the stop sign

  • Proceed straight into the parking lot

From points East and West of Erie:

  • Take Interstate I-90 East (from Cleveland) or West (from New York) to PA I-90 Exit 4 (Route 98 North)

  • Follow Rout 98 North into Fairview

  • Turn right onto Route 5 and proceed for 1.5 miles

  • Turn left onto Dutch Road and follow down the hill

  • After crossing the bridge over Walnut Creek, turn left onto the Walnut Creek Marina access road

  • Stay to the left and follow the creek to the stop sign

  • Proceed straight into the parking lot

Directions to the East Avenue Marina

(located near East Bay Drive just off the Bayfront Parkway, Erie, PA 16507)

From points South of Erie:

  • Take Interstate I-79 North (to the end of I-79)

  • I-79 North turns into the Bayfront Parkway

  • Proceed on the Bayfront Parkway for approximately 1 mile

  • Proceed straight onto East Bay Drive (through the red light)

  • Make a left onto the East Avenue Marina access road

  • Go down small hill and make a quick right into the parking lot

From points East and West of Erie:

  • Take Interstate I-90 East (from Cleveland) or West (from New York) to PA I-90 Exit to the Interstate I-79 North exit

  • Take Interstate I-79 North (to the end of I-79)

  • I-79 North turns into the Bayfront Parkway

  • Proceed on the Bayfront Parkway for approximately 1 mile

  • Proceed straight onto East Bay Drive (through the red light)

  • Make a left onto the East Avenue Marina access road

  • Go down small hill and make a quick right into the parking lot
